Closure, is a series of multimedia paintings inspired through an exploration of emotions that confront the psychological and the spiritual challenges of memory. The process of working in multiple layers allows the subconscious to transcend itself in the materials. These paintings represent memories that can slip into our consciousness and exposes our efforts to forget the traumatic events of our past. Each layer, each stitch, is an attempt to censor our conscious mind to what the truth can be.
